About David Fromholtz
Hi, I’m David.
I am a 30-year-old Photographer and Digital Artist from Australia.
From as early as I can remember, I was always creative. Whether it was singing, drawing, making videos with my father's video camera, being inspired from my mother's photography, learning how to create mixtapes, drawing on MS Paint, teaching myself to use the computer and learn Photoshop. From my early teens, I took an interest in photography and movie making. And I couldn’t have done it without the assistance of my sister, who was always acting for me in my videos.
My love for movies (Superman, Star Wars and basically anything Sci-Fi) inspired me to create images, short films and occasionally write stories.
After high school, I wanted to pursue a career in visual effects and animation. Going to TAFE to study, I realised that it was not the place for me. I decided to learn from watching online training and tutorials, and from there I was able to create whatever came to mind.
In that time, I have worked on several projects including but not limited to:
Random Aussies ( Community TV series)
Broken Bones (Music Video) - Guy Pearce / Late Nite Films
Wizards Of Aus (Mini-Series) - Late Nite Films
The Swell (Music Video) - American Doubles / Late Nite Films
I also specialize in Photogrammetry. Photogrammetry is the process of taking several images of an object to create a 3D digital model.
